Voting for the 2016 Pilots’ Choice Awards Begins February 1st

The start of a new year is always an exciting time at Epps Aviation, with enthusiasm building around the fast approaching FltPlan Pilots’ Choice Awards. These awards recognize a multitude of achievements in the plane services industry, from favorite United States FBOs to top U.S. FBOs by region, among others.

Shane Dale has held a job in aviation at Epps going on twelve years, and is currently working as the FBO Services Manager. With regards to whether Epps will receive another distinction this year, Shane commented, “We always receive high marks, especially in the area of customer service. We have been recognized each of the past several years as one of the top independent fixed base operators in the nation, and I firmly believe we will have the honor again this year.”

Now in its seventh year, the Pilots’ Choice Awards will be open voting from February 1st through March 31st, with results announced in April. According to company officials, the survey is available to more than 140,000 active pilots on FltPlan, and is representative of more than 65% of all business aviation. Because this is a pilot survey rather than a reader survey, it is widely considered to have the greatest accuracy in judging fixed base operators, as pilots use these facilities most regularly and directly.
