Stevens Aviation Signs First Garmin G5000 Installation


Greenville, SC: Stevens Aviation has just announced the signing of their first Garmin G5000 system for BeechJet, Monday, March 20th. The installation is to be performed at their Greenville, South Carolina location which is led by General Manager, David Crowder. The Garmin G5000 integrated flight deck completely remodels the front office of the BeechJet with all new state of the art features. Some of the benefits of the G5000 include an estimated 250 pound average weight savings, new LCD displays, touchscreen controls, and ADS-B out compliance. Stevens Aviation has a strong avionics team led by Avionics Manager Mike Laconto, and with the years of experience predicts a successful outcome. “Stevens has had a lot of success with the G1000 program for King Air, and now to be able to offer our BeechJet customers a tool that will greatly benefit their aircraft is a great step,” said Stevens Aviation Director of Sales and Marketing, Phil Stearns. Sales representative Brian Elmer, who sold the system to owner Martin Gallan with Share Air said, “This is going to a total transformation; the aircraft is not only getting the latest avionics equipment, but is also getting brand new paint and other major inspections. It’s going to leave a completely different aircraft from when it arrived and we are very proud to be part of the process.” Martin Gallan, Owner of the Aircraft told Elmer “When you’re up in the air, you’re glad a company like Stevens Aviation goes by the book and takes no shortcuts.”
