Signature Flight Support inaugurated its new fixed base operation (FBO) today at Boeing Field King County International Airport (BFI) in Seattle, Washington.
The state of the art, modern architecture location consists of a 6,250 sq. ft. executive terminal utilizes the latest energy efficient LED technology for lighting and high-efficiency climate control. The project cost an estimated $11.5 million. Signature demolished the old facility and hangar as part of the redevelopment process.
Signature collaborated with Boeing Field King County Airport and King County Water & Land Resources Department and King County Department of Permitting and Environmental Review to establish an experimental system for storm water management as part of the new development. This system will be monitored in the coming years to determine if acceptable to use on future airport development projects.

Signature also operates at Seattle Tacoma International Airport providing fueling, executive terminal facilities and flight support services.
