Signature Flight Support Partners with Aviation Community Foundation to inspire the next generation

Signature Flight Support Corporation announced today its partnership with the Aviation Community Foundation (ACF) to aid in promoting the aviation industry to the next generation of aviation professionals. ACF is a 501-C3 nonprofit organization with a mission to foster an environment of collaboration between aviation education charities, aviation education programs, and aviation companies. Coordinating all of our efforts to encourage, support and prepare students to pursue aviation careers and become college ready.

“The business and general aviation industry is facing a rapidly approaching shortfall of aviation professionals across the entire industry ranging from pilots to A&Ps to service personnel at airports and FBOs. Signature is proud to play a role in The Aviation Community Foundation’s mission and have every confidence that this organization will have a positive impact on the future of aviation students seeking careers in this fantastic industry,” stated Maria A. Sastre, President and Chief Operating Officer for Signature Flight Support.

One of the funding sources in addition to direct financial support utilizes Signature’s pilot rewards program. Signature TailWins® rewards flight crews with points for purchases of fuel and services at Signature locations. Signature TailWins members can donate their Signature TailWins points to the charity. All points donated support the cause of inspiring a new generation of aviation leaders. Signature locations around the world support many aviation educational charities and with our partnership with ACF we seek to support those local charities to an even greater degree. We believe that collaboration is the key to matching students, charities, programs and corporate donors to impact change faster, a “Better Together” mentality. Aviation Community Foundation focuses on supporting strong aviation education programs to inspire students. ACF has nationwide partner programs, connecting students, educators and aviation centric schools to focus on building flight plans for life.
