Banyan’s Mike O’Keeffe and Michael Gibson attended the EAA Airventure annual convention and fly-in, commonly referred to as “Oshkosh.” It is an annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts held at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the home of the show’s internationally recognized sponsor, Experimental Aircraft Assocation (EAA). During the event, the control tower is the busiest in the world! Mike and Michael represented the Banyan’s HondaJet dealershp and showcased the HondaJet assisting Honda Aircraft for the entire week. The HondaJet Elite was featured during the convention at Honda’s magnificent aircraft chalet.
The HondaJet ELITE, was announced in May 2018 which boasts an increase in range at 1,437 nm. The maximum takeoff weight was increased by 100 pounds, useful load increased from 3,401 lbs to 3,627 lbs, increase of 103 lbs of fuel capacity, and a take-off distance decrease of 433 feet. Other features on the HondaJet ELITE include; a belted lavatory, more carpet choices, galley option, Bongiovi full cabin surround sound system, angle of attack indicator, Flightstream 510, and takeoff and landing distance management system.
