NEXTGEN Aviators by Dynamic Aviation will be providing tours of two vintage aircraft, and offering full access to its state-of-the-art mobile simulators and interactive STEM labs, at the 2022 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Orlando, FL.
Launched in 2019, NEXTGEN Aviators uses two mobile units to introduce youth to the diverse career opportunities available in aviation through an immersive, hands-on experience that showcases technical skills ranging from parts fabrication and assembly to avionics, engineering and professional piloting.
“NBAA is committed to building a brighter future for business aviation through a new generation of professionals and leaders and has made workforce development a central theme of this year’s NBAA-BACE,” said NBAA’s Lyndse Costabile. “We welcome NEXTGEN Aviators by Dynamic Aviation’s leadership in building awareness of aviation as an exciting and rewarding career opportunity and for introducing its thoughtful and studied approach to attendees at NBAA-BACE.”
NEXTGEN Aviators by Dynamic Aviation will complement its NBAA-BACE presence with guided tours of two vintage airframes — Miss Virginia, a DC-3/C-47, and a Twin Beech named Amelia — from Dynamic Aviation’s fleet of restored aircraft.
Since its launch in 2019, NEXTGEN Aviators by Dynamic Aviation has introduced more than 5,000 students to a unique aviation experience. “The NEXTGEN Aviators program provides the future generation with an intriguing introduction to aviation at a pivotal stage of their lives,” said Shane Combs, director, partner relations and marketing at NEXTGEN Aviators.
“Dynamic Aviation and the Stoltzfus family have a history, tradition and culture that dates to the earliest days of aviation,” Combs added. “With this deep connection to our community, we have designed NEXTGEN Aviators to keep our entire industry strong and our nation’s economy thriving by establishing relationships with a new, diverse generation of students and leading them to a successful career in this exciting, innovative and growing industry.”
NEXTGEN Aviators by Dynamic Aviation recently was the highlight outreach exhibit, with C-47 Miss Virginia on display at the Girls in Aviation Day Greater Delaware Valley event. The event, hosted by Signature Flight Support, Atlantic City International Airport, and facilitated and organized by Aviation Influence, Inc. (AVi) saw more than 500 girls and their parents/guardians for an interactive STEM and aviation outreach. Through this event, AVi was able to establish a named scholarship for NEXTGEN Aviators by Dynamic Aviation, marking its first scholarship offering since its inception in 2019.
Taking place Oct. 18-20 at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center and nearby Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), 2022 NBAA-BACE will set a new standard in highlighting the inspiring people, bold ideas, new markets, and emerging technologies transforming business aviation. The show will bring together thought leaders in safety, security, sustainability, innovation and workforce development.
